The University of Arkansas

About the Capital Chapter

The Capital Chapter was founded in 1965. Aiming to serve students, alumni, friends and the community, our chapter has an estimated 11,832 alumni and friends, including those living in Pulaski and Saline counties.

The goal of the chapter is to not only find new and exciting ways to bring alumni and students together through networking and game day events, but to provide scholarships for local University of Arkansas students. The Capital Chapter awards scholarships every year, each one with different qualifications for students to meet.

We invite you to get involved with the Capital Chapter and help us grow even more in the coming years. You can help us to create more ideas, resources and possibilities--all of which are vital to sustaining a strong and successful alumni chapter. Together, we can create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere, while reaching out to others and achieving our goals!

Become one of the 11,832 other alumni who are showing their support for the Capital Chapter by joining the Arkansas Alumni Association. Your membership is automatically associated with the Capital Chapter and the support we receive for our programs and communications is because of our members.

If you would like more information about chapter activities, would like to become more active in chapter leadership or just volunteer in some of our activities, please contact our chapter president Shauna Norton by email at capital@razorbackroad.com.
